Apply with Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­

An online programme for any eligible student who is applying to study at Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­

Apply with Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ is a free, completely flexible online programme that supports Year 13 students through the journey of making a university application. The programme is aimed at students planning on making an application to university this year, particularly those intending to apply to study at Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­.

You will have the opportunity to hear from undergraduates already enrolled on courses at Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ and get help from staff with your UCAS application, including 1:1 personal statement support and live online events, including Q&A on topics such as life at Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­, student finance, accommodation and much more.
You can spend as much or as little time as you like exploring the resources, which are accessible from a phone, tablet or laptop device.

To be considered for a place you will need to: - have obtained at least six GCSEs at grades A* to B/9 to 6, and at least a grade C/4 in GCSE English and Mathematics - be on track to achieve the required entry grades to study your chosen subject at Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ - meet one or more of our widening participation criteria

mA*ths Online Programme

Support for students studying A Level Maths

mA*ths Online supports students studying for A Level Maths. Through support from current students, online modules and visits to the University the aim is to support students to get the top grades.

A programme for students of Black African and Caribbean heritage

Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ Ambitions supports students of Black African and Caribbean heritage to gain places at the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­, working with current students you'll get an insight into life at Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­. Through webinars, mentoring and information sessions you'll see the breadth of what Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ has to offer.

Pathway to Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­

A virtual programme with the opportunity for a residential visit

Pathway to Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ is one-year programme for students under-represented in Higher Education to develop key skills needed for university. Over a few months students receive taught online sessions delivered through a MS Teams community, including live lectures and seminars, 1:1 tutorials and self-directed tasks, culminating in completion of skills-based assignments. The assignments are marked, with feedback provide. Participation and submission of assignments gives the potential to secure a guaranteed conditional offer for entry to Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­.

Discover Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ is a fully subsidised residential summer school which aims to give prospective students (year 12) a taste of first-year life and study at the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­.

Autism Summer School

A summer school for autistic year 11 students

This fully-subsidised residential gives autistic students and their parent/carer the chance to experience university life. The event also aims to equip students with some of the skills to ease their transition to the next stage of their educational journey'
